nobody’s opinions

“Nobody” is the nom de blog of a brilliant, embittered old man garrulous, sarcastic, opinionated retiree with an evil plan to rule the world with a chip on his shoulder and time on his hands.

He cut a deal with the God of Fools in his youth, which is the only reason he has lived this long. Because he neglected to read the fine print, he is today a bit more beat-up than he would like, but reasonably considers that to be the price of having lived fast without dying young. He will, in any case, leave a good-looking corpse.

While his political opinions are really quite moderate, they pass for raving fascism in his hometown of Ithaca NY, where it’s easier to breathe on the right, because the air on the left is so hot. He has lived in this transient-by-definition college town for a long time.

Nobody wants you to know just how liberal and politically correct  Ithaca is.

Nobody wants you to know how Ithaca came to be known as 10 square miles surrounded by reality.

Nobody wants you to know what it’s like to be a stranger in a strange land in a place like Ithaca.

You may believe that nobody is smarter than you.

You may discover that nobody agrees with you.

You may wonder why nobody is looking out for you.
